House Rules & Guest Policy

Welcome to Northwoods Signature Vacation Homes!
We’re thrilled to host you in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. To ensure every guest enjoys a clean, safe, and relaxing experience, we ask that you review and follow the house rules below.

By confirming your reservation or checking in, you agree to these House Rules & Guest Policies.

1. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-in: After 4:00pm
  • Check-out: By [Insert Time10:00AM
  • Early check-ins or late check-outs may be available upon request and are subject to availability and an additional fee.

Guests must follow the provided check-in instructions. Lost keys, garage openers, or lockbox issues must be reported immediately.

2. Occupancy Limits

Each property has a maximum occupancy limit based on safety and local regulations.

  • Only the registered guests listed on the reservation may stay overnight.
  • No unregistered guests or visitors without prior approval.
  • Exceeding the occupancy limit may result in immediate eviction without refund.

3. No Parties or Events

To maintain a peaceful environment for all guests and neighbors:

  • Parties, large gatherings, or events are strictly prohibited.
  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
  • Please respect neighboring properties and community noise standards.

Violations may result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of your security deposit or stay payment.

4. Smoking Policy

All Northwoods Signature Vacation Homes properties are non-smoking indoors.

  • Smoking (including vaping and e-cigarettes) is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
  • Please dispose of cigarette butts properly and never smoke inside the property, porches, or near open windows.
  • A minimum $250 cleaning fee may be charged for indoor smoking violations.

5. Pet Policy

Pets are welcome only at designated pet-friendly properties with prior approval and applicable pet fees.
Guests are responsible for:

  • Cleaning up after pets (indoors and outdoors)
  • Preventing excessive barking or damage
  • Keeping pets off furniture and beds

Unapproved pets or pet-related damage may result in additional cleaning fees or eviction.

6. Property Care and Cleanliness

We take pride in maintaining our homes to the highest standards. Guests are expected to:

  • Keep the property clean and tidy during their stay
  • Report any damage or maintenance issues immediately
  • Do not move furniture or disconnect electronics
  • Follow all posted rules for fireplaces, grills, and hot tubs (if applicable)

Before checkout, please:

  • Wash dishes or run the dishwasher
  • Dispose of trash in designated bins
  • Leave used towels in bathrooms or laundry area

Excessive cleaning or damage may result in additional charges.

7. Parking

Parking is limited to the designated spaces provided for your property.

  • Do not park on lawns, septic areas, or block driveways.
  • Boats, trailers, or RVs may require prior approval.

8. Safety and Security

Your safety is our top priority.

  • Lock doors and windows when leaving the property.
  • Do not tamper with smoke detectors, security systems, or cameras (if applicable).
  • Use grills and firepits responsibly and in designated areas only.
  • Children must be supervised at all times, especially near water or fire features.

9. Damage and Liability

Guests are financially responsible for any damage, missing items, or rule violations caused during their stay.
Charges may be applied to the credit card on file.

Northwoods Signature Vacation Homes is not responsible for:

  • Accidents, injuries, or illness occurring on the property
  • Loss of personal belongings or valuables

By booking, you accept all risks associated with occupancy and use of the property.

10. Hot Tubs, Fireplaces, and Grills

If your property includes special amenities, please follow all posted safety instructions.

  • Do not leave children unattended.
  • Never add foreign objects, soaps, or oils to hot tubs.
  • Use only provided firewood for fireplaces or outdoor fires.
  • Ensure fires are completely extinguished before leaving.

Misuse of amenities may result in charges or loss of privileges.

11. Compliance with Local Laws

All guests must comply with:

  • State, county, and municipal laws
  • Property association or neighborhood rules
  • Fire safety and noise ordinances

Any illegal activity will result in immediate eviction and possible legal action.

12. Violation of House Rules

Violations of these rules may result in:

  • Immediate eviction without refund
  • Forfeiture of security deposit
  • Additional cleaning or damage fees
